Today we walked to the Old German Bakery for a little breakfast and I thought it would be a good time to snap a couple of pics to show you the Old German Bakery in all of it's morning glory:) The lighting there in the morn is beautiful and they have all of their pastries out...so naturally...it's picture time. This spot is in a neat old building, the decor is sparse and very "German themed" (the owner is originally from Berlin) and I like it just the way it is. It's non-pretentious, it's authentic, and it houses some of the most fun group of locals...a group of war vets that meet there every morning...what more could you ask for. Today the hubbs tried the croissant with cheese and bacon and a side of hash browns and he reported really enjoying it. I stuck with my 2 eggs, bacon, and biscuits...and couldn't help but order Sally a German pancake (wink-wink...it was really for me).
Hope you enjoy going to this special spot as much as I do:)
