Ranch Road roasters is just one of those spots that makes me smile when I think of small town living. Run by a super cute couple that makes getting a cup of joe more than just grab n' go...it's quite a fun place to have that morning ritual. Not only do they roast their own beans they also have a local farmer that comes and picks up the chaf and grinds that come from roasting and the espresso process to spread on his farm to encourage the growth of his herbs and vegetables...how's that for sustainable!? RRR also buys coffee from farms who place an emphasis on their employees and the environment. They call it relationship coffee. Their latest batch comes from a female owned farm in Costa Rica! They even give back a small percentage of proceeds to the community. Right now they are supporting O.T.T.E.R. which is a reading program at the elementary school. How awesome is this little spot?!
They also carry some of local chef extraordinairre Josh Raymer's baked bread and scones. And let me tell you...this is some of the best bread I have ever had!!! Read more about what else Daniel has in his great little coffee shop here.
